An open door for Oxford's homeless community

The Gatehouse would like to say a massive thank you to all the volunteers, food groups and staff involved in the Food Safety Inspection on the 15th September. We achieved the highest score of 5 which means we are officially fabulous!! All of us have prepared for this for over five months, but all the additions and hard work has really paid off. We couldn't have achieved this without the support and engagement of all the volunteers that make and deliver food and volunteers that help deliver the service each evening.

It is heartening to know that people who are homeless or vulnerably housed
are receiving such a high quality service!

FOOD GROUPS: For updated Guidelines please see here

Thank you to everyone who came along to our AGM on Saturday 27th June. It was good to be able to meet up with other volunteers and supporters and hear about another good year for the Gatehouse. We were also pleased to have an update on City Council matters from Nerys Parry (Rough Sleeping and Single Homelessness Manager, Housing Services).

A huge thank you to all of the people dropping off men's clothes. It is very much appreciated. BUT please keep it coming as we still need more!!!!
Contact the office if you need to make arrangements for collection.

Our guests also run their own website to showcase their ideas and creativity in all sorts of ways. See here for a glimpse of all that goes on at the Gatehouse.
