Welcome to The Gatehouse
The Gatehouse is an Oxford-based charity providing food, shelter and company to Oxford's homeless and poorly housed population.
It is open to anyone who is 25 or over:
Tuesdays to Saturdays from 5pm to 7pm and Sundays from 3pm to 5pm.
This site is intended for users of the service, those who volunteer or work at the Gatehouse, and anyone interested in finding out more about what we (and other agencies in Oxford) offer.
HELP!
Oxford City Council is recommending that the Gatehouse loses its £10,000 grant after 2011. If you are a volunteer, staff member or guest, please write a few words to say how you have benefited from the project.

As well as this official Gatehouse site we also have our own creative website constructed by and with our guests. You will find details of the Wednesday Art Group, creative writing, photography, the GateWay free paper and other activities.
See also a scrapbook of photos from years gone by.

If you would like to donate by credit or debit card, then you can use either our Just Giving web page here (also accepts PayPal) or the Charities Aid Foundation web page here (also accepts CAF Charity Card). General information about volunteering is given here.
