EY2010
2010 is the European Year to Combat Poverty and Social Exclusion.
The launch event for EY2010 in Oxfordshire took place on Thursday 11th February at Oxford Town Hall.
Adam Sharples, Director General of the Department of Work and Pensions, spoke about what EY2010 means for our region. There was also a debate, chaired by Bill Heine, with Andrew Smith joining a panel of local people with an interest in different aspects of poverty.

The Oxford Food Bank is now in business! We received our first supplies from the project here at the Gatehouse in the middle of July and it was officially launched in October. Regular deliveries of bread, cakes and fruit have been greatly appreciated by our guests.
