The Bridge provides emergency direct access accommodation. and support (including resettlement support) for homeless young people (16-25 years old) in Oxford. We enable appropriate move-on to independent and sustainable lifestyles for all, thus limiting the impact on the individual, the family, and the wider community. The Bridge is 24 bed service; bedrooms are single sex; we have 8 single rooms and 8 twin rooms. A light evening meal and breakfast are normally available; there is also a shower facility. Curfew for clients already acccessing the Bridge is 9.30p.m. every day. No entry under the influence of drink, drugs or alcohol. Each client engages in weekly keywork sessions and can opt to engage in the educational ativities and group sessions at our sister project The Gap. Opening hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Oxford Homless Pathways offers direct access, emergency accommodation for homeless people over 25 years old. A homeless person will be admitted if there is a bed available and if s/he complies with the rules, subject to Oxford's Reconnection Policy. There is a fee of £3 per person, per night. The fee includes accommodation, a hot evening meal, breakfast and the use of the Day Shelter facilities. Most of the accommodation is single rooms with en-suite facilities. Residents must book on a daily basis, between 2.00p.m. and 3.30p.m. New arrivals can put their name down for admission during these times, with new beds allocated at 4.30p.m. All clients will receive resettlement support and advice.

Oxford Night Shelter accepts homeless people who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. However, the use of non-prescribed drugs and the dealing of drugs on the premises is not tolerated. Alcohol can be consumed in a separate "wet room". Violent or intimidating behaviour is not tolerated.
