You may have heard that at our AGM on 11th April 2011 we launched an appeal for funds to cover the costs of our move from the Northgate Hall back to St Giles Parish Rooms - where it all began in 1988. We hope to raise around £175,000 so if you have any ideas or suggestions for fund-raising activities then we'd be delighted to hear from you, just email to fundraising@oxfordgatehouse.org.
There are a number of activities which raise funds for the Gatehouse over the course of a year, including the Oxford Sleep Out (see www.oxfordsleepout.org.uk), sales of the book Oxford: - One City, Many Voices, sales of Gatehouse cards - including the 2008 Christmas card - with original designs by members of the Art Group.
Now you can also attract funds for the Gatehouse by doing your online shopping via the website The Giving Machine. A wide range of popular retailers have joined the scheme - when you buy from them they make a donation to your chosen charity and it costs you nothing more. For more information, see Online Shopping.
Or join our Goatsheads Group sharing ideas to support the work of the Gatehouse by working with the local community to build awareness of the Gatehouse and its work.
Then there are the very welcome "one-offs" which people dream up and bring to fruition to help us.
For examples of some spectacular fund raising efforts, see Thank You.
We are also always eager to support groups and individuals planning any sponsored event to raise funds for the Gatehouse, see Get Sponsored.
